Get $5 back on your online Walmart Grocery purchase of $50+.

A number of banks use the same back end for these offers. This includes: Chase, Bank of America, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank, Beneficial Bank, and Christian Community CU. You can read this post for more information.

Offer valid one time only.
Offer expires July 17th, 2019.
Offer not valid on prescription purchases.
Offer not valid on tobacco products purchases.
Offer not valid on third-party purchases.

Our Verdict

Save it on the Freedom for 5x this quarter as Walmart Grocery has been coding properly as Grocery Stores. Update: some readers comment that Walmart Grocery has not been coding as grocery for them on Chase Freedom. Should also be able to stack it with $10 off code.

Is back on both of my Chase cards until Oct 31. Can we use to buy $50 VGC for $5 off? Both grocery.walmart.com , as well as walmart.com/grocery , just redirect to walmart.com. Is Chase able to distinguish?

Sorry, I never tried it. Have walmart.com with Discover IT (5+5% first year) that I have been using instead.

Got this before but useless for my location. I don’t ever get the ones that would be of use. So overall chase offers has not been good for me since it launched. Only used Starbucks offer and that was a one time thing.

In-store? No, never does. The Wal-Marts around me do code as grocery stores (I can tell from my BOA statements), but Chase has excluded them from grocery store rewards. However, this page is about grocery.walmart.com purchases. Many people are getting 5x back from Chase for this, but others aren’t.
