Update: Stars are starting to post for people, if you don’t see the Stars then check Chase Pay and you should see a confirmation message that the Stars are on their way. It seems like they are posting for people who did the promo on the first day it’s active. In addition it looks like online reloads have not worked, in store reloads ARE working.

Our Verdict
Can’t really complain with two free items for making a single purchase. Make sure you enroll in Starbucks Bingo as well. Keep in mind if you don’t have Starbucks gold status you’ll earn 300 Stars (enough for Gold status), but won’t get the free items.

My stars didn’t post after making a purchase on March 18. Chase told me to call Starbucks. The CS at Starbucks told me the promotion ended on the 17th. Anyone had trouble over the terms when contacting Starbucks?

tried but the chase pay app wouldn’t load a bar code to scan. tried like 5 times at the register and then gave up and just paid with my starbucks card. has anyone had any luck complaining to Chase (or Starbucks) and getting the stars added manually?
Update: I SMed Chase asking if they would manually apply the bonus. As expected they told me to get lost.
I followed the Chase pay instructions to link my Starbucks card and used it in DC. I received my 300 stars on March 17. I guess DC is close enough to MD to count.

How many of you who got the 300 stars also got 2 rewards?
You have to have a Starbucks account for the 300 stars to be equivalent to a reward. The stars were added to my account and then it appeared in my rewards total as two free drinks.
I have a SBUX account already.
Were you already Gold status before this deal?
You start at Green level. You need to earn 300 Stars first to get to Gold level. Then you can start redeeming stars. The 300 you earn as a Green is only so you can reach Gold.
I bought a $5 gift card at a store 3 days ago and 300 stars posted today. I already had gold status. Good thing I found about this promotion because the gold status was about to expire this week.
