Hat tip to Travel On Points
Waiting for the 100k offer + no annual fee + 0% interest/12mths + 5% grocery/1st year + ?k referral link. That would be wild fire!
That’d be too good to be true lol
So Tikky is never applying for this card. LOL
Are there any DPs on Chase targeted mailers? I’m guessing most likely under 5/24 to start but what about x/30, x/6, x/12 & credit utilization and score? Do they only go to people who havent had a new card in a while?
Isn’t it 3x on dining?
yes
What’s the website URL to put the targeted code into?
chase dot com
Patience has its rewards… almost went for the 90k in-branch offer
Many times the in-branch offers will waive the first year fee. Make sure you ask.
It would be a wash. So no big deal.
Pro tip: wait for public 100k with no AF next month.
Is this pure speculation or is there a specific reason that makes you believe this will be available as a public offer next month?
His last name is Chase. Seriously Kyoma..
Obviously a joke… Sapphire Preferred public online offers don’t waive the AF. I expect the public offer to be 80k + AF not waived
For those with codes in the mail, when does it expire?
Same date as the in-branch offer
Can anybody share their code from snail mail?
Sure. Give me your mailing address and I’ll mail you some real snails with codes on them.
I’ll mail you some codes delivered via actual snails. They may be expired by the time they reach you though.
Hahha never trust a Nigerian Prince.
There’s one roaming around who still owes me $40 Million. He PROMISED!

This code is legit!
You tested it?
how do we use this?
hahahaha I was going to call my branch and see until I saw it. OMG that would have been hilarious.
Dumb question, how do we use the promo code?
Show it to a banker
4 years… seriously? How do I remember something like that from 4 years ago. Have to start another spread sheet
May be able to check on credit karma
But do we know if it’s 48 months since the account was opened? Or specifically since the bonus was earned (there could be 1-3 months difference between both)

I looked at my free Transunion credit report that Amex provides on their site, and it has the specifics on your recently opened and closed cards.
As I remember, 48 months from receiving bonus.
Uhhh if you don’t know this by now you should have done it years ago. Chase is not the only bank that has SUB limits to prevent churning. Banks are on top of the game now….they don’t allow folks to continue churning cards with ease.

Have you considered keeping your statements?
I use the website travelfreely.net It’s a fantastic resource where you can enter cards/date qualified/date cancelled and there is even a ‘Card Genie’ that lists the cards you qualify for, based on your 5/24 status and card history. Check it out! (no – it’s not my website!)
Time for me to PC my CSR to a Freedom card then wait for this offer to show up in my mailbox, will use P2’s referral code then MDD.
Nit to pick here: credit cards do not have vehicle rental insurance – they have damage waivers, different beasts altogether with significant limits.
Is this true even for cards that says they have “premium” insurance?
https://thepointsguy.com/guide/cards-rental-car-coverage/
Yes, they’re all damage waivers. Liability will still fall back to your regular car insurance (which is the same process that would happen with a CDW)
A caveat: the vehicle rental company is, in the US, required to provide the state’s minimum liability coverage and it’s built in to the price of the rental with the coverage set to the minimum of the state’s requirement that the vehicle is rented in. My source is the Insurance Information Institute (iii.org).
TPG is IMHO just a shill site for card referrals and promoting lifestyle perks. Credit/charge cards do not provide insurance – it’s a Federally-regulated industry. The loss damage waivers provided by both the card backer (not the issuer) or the vehicle rental company are just that – waivers – and plenty of potential damage will likely not be covered as in windshields, interior or undercarriage damage, mirrors, wheels.
The add-on “Insurance” provided at an extra cost by AMEX is provided by an insurance company which partners with AMEX through use of some of AMEX’s cards but, again, there are plenty of exclusions. The AMEX partner is a regulated insurance provider, but do read that fine print
Collision damages caused by your actions are partially covered by loss damage waivers (see the exclusions in each instance), and the card CDW will likely cover damage caused by the card holder. If a tree branch or other object or there’s a hit-and-run that causes damage to the vehicle, you’re not covered by the CDW and you’re at the underwriter’s discretion for coverage. Also keep in mind that BI/PI and comprehensive coverages aren’t even offered by CDW agreements.
