American Express is giving people a pop-up notice of a name change to their Green card. The new name will be ‘American Express Classic Green Card’. The change will take place on 8/20/26.
Reportedly, all the benefits and details are remaining the same. But this does seem to signify some sort of upcoming change, possibly a separate updated Green card with different benefits for new applicants only or some other change.
