Is there a way to use Clear with any of the credit cards and have it covered? I already have precheck/global entry and have unused credit for these on like 5 different cards, but would definitely use it for clear if it would be covered…
No.
Amex Green pays for $100 credit for Clear. On top of that If you have delta or united membership , you may pay $9 or $19 extra depending on your level. This is all I know
Am I the only one who thinks this is highly overrated service? I used it because I had it at NYC airport prior to Covid, but was like “what, is this all that it gives me” o_O?
I agree. I used it at Orlando, but it’s like Clear is an “unofficial” service and it was like the rep helped me cut the line a little.
Don’t you have to pay to reactivate? Am I missing something ? I think I got it on BF.
We got the e-mails again today.
No you don’t have to pay to reactivate. When you reactivate Clear gives you a date that you will be charged on. Default is set to auto-renew. I changed that after I reactivated. The verbiage it “Clearly” tells you is that your benefits will expire on that date (6 months from now).
Win-win IMO if you do your due diligence and not set to renew automatically. I did this the last go around without a hitch.
Adding that if you have the Family plan, family members are reactivated under the 6 month trial also.
Thanks. The verbiage looked like it was 6 months free with activation. Activated for P1/P2 – slide the slide to off position on Auto-renew.
Planning on waiting to travel resumes to somewhat normal. Could have used it on several flights recently though.
Less likely to pay till they add it at PDX and travel traffic and TSA lines are busy again.
They also have a $50 off with code HOLIDAY
