If I already have active listings will it apply to the next 5 items that sell? Or do I have to end them and relist them?

Pretty sure you need to re-list them.

I called eBay with the same question. The CSR said that you need to end the listing and start a new one because when you relist an item it has the original start date as the “official” start date and not the relist date. So, you will lose any watchers and have to go through the whole listing info, photo, etc process again.

eBay seller promotions always have a “hook” that makes them a pain. The last one of these save 50% on seller fee promotions had fine print that stated if the sale was for more than a quantity of 1 item the promotion doesn’t count. Not sure why they treat sellers like buyers trying to stack coupons at the grocery store.

I feel that eBay has ZERO respect for sellers. Between eBay and PayPal fees they are taking nearly 13% and provide only a marketplace and very little support IMHO. etsy has a way better fee structure, but can’t sell new items easily.

If you are selling more than about $500 in a month, it would likely be worth setting up a basic eBay store. It is a monthly fee of $24.95 (month-to-month) and can save you on the final value fees. For my categories, it saves me almost half and I am only paying 6% FVF.
With PayPayl, I am still under the 10% that eBay itself would charge without the store. Something to look into! You can cancel the subscription anytime if you are not selling.

I sell watches and the final sale fee with a basic store is 9.15%. Need to sell $3K per month to break even, which is about what I do each month. So, no real savings.

There was one that just ended but it was only for selling Tech related items only that you got 50% selling fees back. Both of these offers were in the promotions tab in the my ebay dashboard and i just clicked the get offer button.

Currently it shows :Start time – 04/10/18 16:56:22 PDT

End Time – 04/14/18 23:59:59 PDT

I checked your affiliate link and it is the same url that took me to the splash page, and if you hover over the activate offer button on that page its the same link that i currently have when i press “learn more”.

Also checked my email and i did not receive one from them about this promo.
For the comments below its above the fine print message.
Please note: Invited sellers must activate the Promotion by selecting ā€œActivate offerā€ from within the invitation email, the Promotion landing page, or from within the Promotional Offers module within My eBay. Items listed prior to a seller activating the Promotion will not be eligible for the discount.
