Update 4/6/19: $20 offer has returned and there is a new $5 offer for some people that have already done the $20 deal. Hat tip to readers Brandon K &Â curmudgeon
The Offer
No direct link, unknown subject line ‘Find more money with Elements Financial and aimme’
- Elements Financial is offering some customers a $20 Visa gift card when they create an aimme account by March 8th, 2019 and set up a recurring transfer to your aimme savings account before May 17th, 2019
- Receive a $5 reward when you save $10 a week for 4 weeks.
The Fine Print
- To qualify for this offer you must create an aimme account by March 8, 2019, set up a recurring transfer to your aimme savings account, and complete the first transfer before March 15, 2019.
- We’ll then send you a $20 Visa gift card within 30 days after your first recurring transfer has been successfully completed.
- Only the original intended recipient of this email is eligible for this offer.
Our Verdict
Probably only worth considering if no ChexSystems inquiry is done. Aimme looks like an app that is supposed to help with savings with automated transfers, budget tools etc.

Heads up to those who are doing the $10 per week times 4 weeks coffee challenge, earn $5 after completion. I just earned another $5 from the one that ended Apr 22 and will start another challenge tomorrow. This challenges just keep on giving 🙂
Me too. I was declined for their credit card and never even got a letter in the mail explaining why. The customer service promised to refer me to their reconsideration department and it never happened.
I received the $20 VGC for joining before March 8. I also did the $10/week x 4 weeks coffee challenge in March and earned $5 reward deposited to my aimme acct. There is a new coffee challenge this month I enrolled for another $5 reward.
Overall, this is a bonus acct that keeps giving and the chkg account has passed as DD transfer to a lot of banks we opened for SUB. I access aimme savings from my laptop, didn’t DL the app.
Just got an email for this with subject line “Find more money with Elements Financial and aimme”.
“*Offer details: To qualify for this offer you must create an aimme account by May 17, 2019, set a recurring transfer, and complete one or more recurring transfers totaling $50 before May 24, 2019. You’ll receive a $20 Visa gift card within 30 days after you’ve transferred $50 into your aimme savings account. Only the original intended recipient of this offer is eligible.”
Can anyone else confirm they pulled Chex after doing this and didn’t get an inquiry? I’m reluctant to do it based on one data point indicating that this might pull Chex.
Can you fwd the e-mail? [email protected]
Worked just fine. Received $20 gift card in the mail today.
same. I signed up and setup a $1 recurring transfer.
When did you first transfer go through? Mine has been started, now I just wondering when I should look for the mailer!
I tried this deal a year ago when they sent my a mailer. Never got the $20 as the transfer I set up failed (no reason for it to fail on my end, I had the funds for the transfer in my account). I failed to follow up on it in time to get the $20.
They pull your Chex report on the day you open the aimme account. I had an inquiry from that date.
Good to know about Chex. I’m not one to fret about Chex inquiries, but that’s a deal-breaker for me if the offer is only a $20 VGC for a Chex pull.
Thanks, very useful DP.
Where’s the schedule of fees and interest rate? There’s no info on the public website
Just received this offer, email subject line is “Elements + you = $20 to treat yourself”. The account registration is linked to the email address it was sent to. Signing up was easy, requiring only the last 4 digits of SSN. They also are running an additional promotion after setting up the account where they deposit $5 into the AIMME account after completing the “1-Month Coffee Challenge” recurring transfer option which deposits $10 a week into the AIMME account for a month, making it a easy $25 in total!!!
Easy $20. Aimme account is already connected to Elements. Set up $1 recurring transfer.
Any Chex inquiry?
No, not so far.
Same link URL as what I received.
