[Targeted] Free $10 Amazon Credit with $50 Gift Card Purchase

The Offer

Direct Link (link should tell you if you are targeted)

  • Purchase $50 in Amazon gift cards and receive a free $10 promotional credit on Amazon. Use promo code: 0616GCARDS at checkout.

Add $50 of Amazon gift cards to your cart and see if the checkout system will accept the promo code. Or you can use the link above to see if it gives you the offer.

The Fine Print

  • $50 gift card purchase must be made between June 1 – June 30th, 2016
  • Valid on electronic or physical Amazon gift cards
  • $50 purchase must be placed in a single order
  • An email notification will also be sent within three days after shipping confirming your Amazon.com Credit

Our Verdict

This comes around every month, you might only be able to do it once per lifetime – not exactly sure how it works out if you’re targeted or not. Use a credit card that earns at a high rate on Amazon purchases to get a larger discount.

Personallly — Yawn as I do not like to have $$$ tied up in Amazon GCs. My purchases are sporadic until the late third quarter or fourth quarter when the normal CCs add to the reward return.

None of my family’s three accounts. They’ve had so many of this in the last year. Who else is left for this offer? Amazon should get its act together.

I have come to believe that if you ever used a targeted offer like this you will not be eligible again in 3 or so years
