- Boxed has sent out an e-mail offering $20 in boxed credit after you stay with Boxed hotels (their online travel agency for hotels)
The Fine Print
- Must book Boxed Hotels stay at hotels.boxed.com using your Boxed account after 12:01am ET on 7/27/17 and prior to 11:59pm ET on 7/31/17 to be eligible for offer.
- $20 Boxed account credit will be applied to the Boxed account used to book the Boxed Hotels stay after the eligible stay is completed.
- Offer valid for new and existing Boxed customers.
- Limit one offer per account.
- Boxed reserves the right to modify, replace, or cancel offer at any time.
- Offer may not be combined with other offers, promotions or discounts. Offer is not valid for cash or cash equivalent.
- Offer not valid on prior purchases.
- New customers must create an account to redeem offer.
Our Verdict
It’s important to note that the American Express boxed offer DOES NOT work with Boxed hotels. Keep in mind you also won’t earn elite night/stay credits or have your status recognized with most chain hotels. This deal is obviously best on very cheap stays, I did find some places for $10 a night in South East Asia. As always make sure you to do price comparisons and compare when taking other discounts into account (my favorite stacking is with Hotels.com). Boxed Hotels basically just looks liked a reskinned booking.com.
