I like when I get those, especially when they’re good for both months so I can use the CSR credit.

Hi, a quick question abot CSR credit. If i got the credit Dec last year, when should I use it to get another credit. This has me confused. Thanks!

Oops, meant to say CSP not CSR

CSP is quarterly so I would “assume” it’s regular quarters: Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul- Sept, Oct-Dec

You need to stack multiple discounts for instacart to be worthwhile.

Think I might stack this with the chase deal …for freedom it’s a other $15 off

SG : I think Freedom is $10 off quarterly – CSP is $15

Is there any way to ensure that order amount stays about $100 with unavailable items? It seems like this won’t work on Instacart gift cards. I struggle to even cross $70 when I order groceries from Instacart. I don’t want to purchase more than needed marked up stuff from Instacart.

I don’t use this myself, so I’m not telling you this first hand, but what I’ve read online in several places is that you keep the full discount even if unavailable items bring your total order below the threshold. And apparently some people will game this intentionally by ordering a handful of items they actually want and a ton of things that they know will be out of stock.

That’s what I accidently did when there’s a promo directly from Instacart. They often send spend 35 get 10 off and sometime my stuff isn’t available and I didn’t like the replacements. But if it’s a different promo from a vendor like PayPal or amex, you need to meet the minimum.

That’s been my experience.

Andy : Wow – That helps. Do you know if it has worked for people even when the promo is from PayPal ( Not from instacart this time)

VP Oh right — that’s an important distinction. I’m fairly certain it doesn’t work with this Paypal offer. As bob123 mentioned, this is how you can game promos directly from Instacart. The distinction slipped my mind when I posted. Hopefully you can use the trick I mentioned on a future promo.

Perfect – I’ll pass in that case. I had bad experience with paypal offers in the past. I had earned $10 off for future purchase offers from Paypal ( 2 times). I purchased two $10 walmart physical GCs. When I tried using them, I found out that walmart sent me gift cards with $0 on them!! I followed up with walmart support, spent lot of time and they refunded me for both gift cards. Which basically meant I got $0 refund as paypal just refunded it to the promo code which was long expired. For this deal, I see below in TnC: Redemptions are final, will not be returned, and are subject to review and verification. The Reward has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or withdrawn from the Eligible Participant’s PayPal Account, except in PayPal’s sole discretion. If item(s) purchased using a Reward are returned and the Redemption Period has expired, PayPal will first refund the money spent to the payment method used to complete the Eligible Purchase amount in excess of the money spent (i.e., the value of the Reward) will not be refunded. If the Redemption Period has not expired, the value of the Reward will be returned to the Offers section of the PayPal account and will be available for use by the account holder. PayPal may provide an alternate reward of equal value if it is unable for any reason to fulfill the Reward. PayPal reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify this offer in part or in its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run at the same time; qualification for this offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. PayPal is not responsible and/or liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected e-mail, Reward, or offer-related materials or correspondence or if any participant’s e-mail address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without participant giving prior written notice to PayPal. Offer is void where prohibited, if Eligible Purchases are not completed through legitimate channels, or if any offer-related materials are counterfeit, altered, defective, tampered with or irregular in any way. Certain offers may not be transferable. Any questions relating to the offer will be resolved in PayPal’s sole discretion and its decisions related to the offer will… Read more »
