Our Verdict
At this stage it’s not clear if this is just for some GO REWARDS cardholders or if other cardholders have been targeted as well.
Not sure where to best post this but here is an update on credit card funding of new accounts at Navy FCU (currently listed as $250 limit). I opened a savings account, but was not able to fund online with a non-Navy credit card. There was a funding transfer option from CC which I selected, but the next page indicated that I did not have a Navy CC. A statement indicated that transfers from other CC are possible, but there was no link online to allow this, so it is unclear how you can fund a NFCU account with a CC from another institution. Perhaps on the phone, which I did not try.
Can you recommend someone for this CU? I’ve been trying to get in forever… I dont know any service people.
I don’t know a single person that has the Go Rewards card. Everyone uses cash rewards card
(In the Navy and and had NFCU for eight years)
I have the Go Rewards card. Now you know one person.
Not bad if you already have the card, but Citi Premier is 3x TY Pts with no cap now.
This is on top of the points you get for grocery shopping.
