U.S. Bank Cash+

  • Earn 20% more cash back (up to $20) on additional net purchases, online and in-store, once you spend $550 with your U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature® Card from November 1 through December 31, 2017.

You don’t earn the 20% bonus on the 2% or 5% categories, so this bonus is 100% worthless as it just means you can earn 1.2% cash back on all purchases AFTER spending $550+. Use a better card that earns at a high rate on all purchases instead.

This is the 3rd offer we have gotten on Fidelity but it’s up to 1400 now! I am putting spend on other Fidelity card which has never gotten an offer, also changed monthly autopay from card that got offers to card that didn’t.

Synchrony (Paypal credit card) just sent an email offering 5000 points after three transactions. That’s a roughly $40-$50 giftcard for three cups of coffee.

I have never once received one of Fidelity’s targeted emails credit card promotions/offers. I have an individual brokerage account with Fidelity as well as 529 college savings account. And a checking account when them as well. And I’ve had the Fidelity Rewards credit card for 7 or 8 years (starting when it was an American Express card offered by FIA/BoA). What exactly does one have to do to get a bonus offer from them? Did I somehow opt-out of bonus points?

Sigh…

I also never received one of Fidelity’s targeted emails until recently. All I did was put more spend on the credit card. I pray this works for you as well.

I just sent the follow-up email containing the T+C for the US Bank Cash+ offer. As far as I can tell, only the 1% gets the extra bonus. But nice for people who have no better rewards card for everyday purchases.

P.S. I’m Brandon.

And the offer said after $250 in spend, not $550.

I received the fidelity offer with my spending being $50. Does that mean after $50 I get 3%? If so, that’s pretty great.
