Our Verdict
Always a good idea to price compare, even with the free night sometimes booking through these channels can be a lot more expensive than using other booking methods.

I have no plans to be in any of the cities where Thompson is located, but I took a look anyway to get an idea of the savings. For Seattle, the first three nights were full price and the last night had a zero charge. Interestingly, there appeared to be a “hospitality surcharge” of $25 for the first three nights. Isn’t a hotel in the business of providing hospitality, not something they charge extra for? A resort fee or destination fee by any other name stinks just the same.
