[Expired] Topcashback: 15% Cashback on Gift Cards from Raise.com

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Topcashback is offering 15% cashback on gift cards purchased on Raise.com.

The Fine Print

  • Ends today 9/22/19.
  • Gift Cards listed under the “Cash Back Gift Cards” section on Raise.com are non-commissionable. You may only earn cash back on gift cards listed under the “Discount Gift Cards” section.
  • Orders submitted over $1000 are not eligible for cash back.
  • If you list a gift card for sale on Raise.com you will not be eligible for cash back.
  • Using a promotional/coupon code not posted and approved by TopCashback. If you use a code that we have not provided you with then there is a strong chance that your cashback will be declined or go untracked to your account.
  • Orders submitted under $20 are not eligible for cash back.
  • Returning, exchanging or cancelling part of your order may result in the cash back being declined.
  • After you have placed over $5,000 in lifetime purchases on Raise.com, you will no longer be eligible for cash back.

Our Verdict

This offer won’t work for veteran Raise buyers who have already purchased $5k+ in lifetime purchases. Remember the $5k limit is based on all purchases made on the Raise.com account, regardless of whether you used a portal on the earlier purchases.

This offer is very tempting, but weren’t there post about rewards not posting from Topcashback for Raise purchases?

Mine posted eventually just took longer than expected ($400 worth!)

Mine posted. Just cashed out $30 yesterday. I’ve had good success with TCB.

If you list a gift card for sale on Raise.com you will not be eligible for cash back.

what is that mean? If I ever sold a gift card on Raise, I will not be eligible for cash back
or If I purchased the gift card I listed, I will not be eligible for cash back- but who will do that?

William Charles

Think it’s just saying this is for purchases, not sales.

Geng
Geng

how can one check on the lifetime purchase amount on raise.com?

Jess
Jess

I believe it is most easily computed when viewing all of your purchased gift cards on the Raise app. They will be batched via the brand of GC, so probably easy to add up the totals.

RM
RM

Geng Only one way to do it — you have to manually add up all your purchases. The relevant number is the amount you paid, not the face value of the card. There is no shortcut.

Jess
Jess

RM The shortcut is to look at your purchased GC’s on the app, where they are subtotaled by brand so you can just add up the subtotals. 🙂

Works out to 17% off airbnb and 19% off hotels.com — assuming you have reasonable confidence that you’ll get the cashback (I think you would). A good deal if you need to book something now; otherwise, I’d wait for at least 20% off somehow.

Yup, otherwise wait for another 20% Amazon UR/MR offer so you can get $500 Airbnb for $400 (plus 1 Amex/Chase point).

how does it work out to 17% off and Am i understanding it correctly that i cant buy 3000 $$ worth of airbnb cards?

What portals does Raise have a lifetime limit over 5K? I read that they are all different but all of them that I check are 5K in lifetime purchases from raise.

RM
RM

Zachary Chaltiel $20,000 on Ebates; $10,000 on Mr. Rebates and Lemoney; $15,000 on Giving Assistant. There are likely others; you just have to check around.

Do any of those other ones ever offer 10%+ back?

The question is will you ever see the funds?

Nice! Got some Target GC. This worked for me previously in May.

TCB never seem to have tracked my purchase and its been over 9 hours since I completed the purchase. This is probably the first time I am facing this issue with Raise on TCB. Anyone else facing similar issues?

+1. Let’s see what happens. Maybe they were overwhelmed yesterday.

Are you guys still missing tracking record on TCB? I’m also facing the same issue.

Been nearly 30 hours for me and still nothing. What about you? Still nothing at this point?

RB
RB

Still nothing for me. I have a ticket open with TCB. This is disappointing.

Jon
Jon

They say to wait seven days before opening a ticket. Not sure whether that’s what I need to do but its now two days and still nothing. Never had this issue before either

Mine finally showed up this morning

Brendan

I went through Topcashback’s 15% off link and checked out and completed my purchase well before midnight but Raise is still “processing” my payment. Will this delay affect my ability to collect from TCB?

What time zone they use for deadlines?

Made my purchase almost 30 hours ago now and I still don’t see it posted on TCB. Anybody else having a similar issue?

Bought $200 worth of Stubhub GC’s two days ago and still don’t see any tracking or record on the site. TCB sucks!

Erin

TCB shows the last click to Raise 5.01pm but I made 4 transactions through TCB starting that time.
“Details of your most recently visited merchants are displayed here. Please note: cashback can take up to 7 days to appear in your account.”
Does it mean that I can apply for lost transactions only after 7 days? I made 4 transactions and don’t see any of them.

I have have GREAT success with TCB tracking but this one has not tracked yet. But, from the reading, I guess that is par for the course this time around. Hopefully, it will.

Jon
Jon

Same here. It doesn’t seem like we’re alone so hopefully its just delays on their end

Last time there was a Raise deal on TCB it worked for me automatically within 48 hours but I remember others claiming it did not. Nothing yet so far on my $50 GC but I’ll post back around the 7 day mark. Filing claims with TCB takes forever but I have always gotten paid.

My cashback didn’t initially track or show tracked on a purchase made on sep 22nd but just got email and finally has tracked!!!!

I see my 4 transactions too!! 🙂
