[Dead] Topcashback: Get 20% Back on All Gift Card Brands from Raise.com! [Today Only]

Update: Topcashback has updated the offer to include ALL gift card brands with 20% back. That’s incredible! (Topcashback clarifies in the comments that these brands are typically excluded, so they wrote these out as “included”, but really the promotion is for ALL gift card brands.)

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Topcashback is offering 20% cashback on select all gift card purchases made on Raise.com.

The following brands are included: Sears, Sears In-Store, Kmart, Kmart In-Store, Starbucks, Amazon, Nordstrom, Staples, Best Buy, Bloomingdale’s, Macys, Hyatt, iTunes. (Update: ALL gift card brands are included.)

The Fine Print

  • Offer ends today.
  • Gift Card Listings will receive no cashback.
  • Bulk seller listings are not eligible.
  • Orders over $1,000 are not eligible.
  • Once you’ve placed $5,000+ in lifetime orders from Raise.com, you aren’t eligible for cashback.
  • Raise Pay/Cashback listings are not eligible for cashback.

Our Verdict

The 20% back is on top of whatever discount already exists. Amazon would be huge, but there aren’t any gift cards available. Some of the other brands are still interesting, like Best Buy, Staples, etc.

Just received email from TCB that this 20% cb is now payable. Confirmed it by logging on. Thanks Doc and Chuck!!
Quick question for folks: they are offering a 4% bonus if I cash out to a Target eGift Card. Can someone tell me if I can purchase other gift cards (Starbucks, Amazon, etc) using this eGift Card. Also, can this be done online (target.com) and in-store?
Thanks in advance.

Looks like Raise skipped June payment all together.
“We last received a payment from this merchant during May 2019, for transactions in April 2019.”

Avg Payment Speed 5 wks 4 days. — It has now been 8 weeks.

My one order that tracked initially is now declined and at $0. I am under $5k according to TCB’s accounting.

Wait a minute. Does $5k lifetime mean total spent on raise regardless of where the cashback is credited?

I’ll be amazed if they(tcb) pay it out without frustrations when the cb is redeemable in 3 months.

Mine didn’t track either. I was wary of doing it, but figured it was GCs I’d use anyway. Let’s see if opening a ticket works.

Filed my missing cash back ticket today. TCB automatically responded that they can’t dispute for 30 days, so they’re going to sit on my ticket until June. Hope this works out!

TopCashback Support To TCB Support: I wanted to suggest that you folks consider renegotiating the $5,000 lifetime limit in your affiliate terms with Raise. Every one of your competitors has much higher limits with Raise. For example, Ebates is $20,000, and Giving Assistant and Shop at Home are $15,000. Your very small limit puts you at a competitive disadvantage and forces your best potential customers to use other portals.

To be fair TCB often has much higher rates than the competitors so they might have decided to go for a higher rate than total limit. Good to have both options IMO

William Charles It’s a business decision for them, as you say. That’s fine as long as they have actually made it consciously. I am happy to have multiple options. I wonder if TCB is happy with me spreading my business across multiple options.
