The Offer
- U.S. Bank is currently offering a sign up bonus of $200 when you spend $1,000 or more within the first 90 days of account opening on the Cash+ card.
Card Details
- No annual fee
- You can choose two categories to earn 5% in (limit $2,000 in spend per quarter), one category to earn 2% in one and 1% on all other purchases
Our Verdict
Previously the best offer was $200, but required $500 in spend. This requires a little more spend but that shouldn’t be a huge issue due to the 5% categories. Unfortunately getting approved for U.S. bank cards can be difficult so you might want to apply for the  the U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve card instead.
Hat tip to US Credit Card Guide
I have been receiving repeated offers in the mail twice a month for this card. Finally opened it. Pre-selected, spend 500 in purchases within 90 days for 200$. 0% Apr for 15 billing cycles and balance transfers. Expires may 15, 24. 802 scores across the board with 0 deb and 267k in available credit. I will give it a try; however, I was denied my last card due to having substantial amount of credit available. Current inquiries 3. We will see> in a few moments.
Update:

Note: Already have a US bank Altitude and Triple cash business .
FYI – Active & Fit Direct does NOT code as a gym.
I already have the US Bank Altitude Go card. Will they allow me to get a second card from them? Or are they strict with how many cards you can have with US Bank?
I logged into US Bank today and saw a targeted promo that I could enroll in:

Did you see the offer in the app, TJ, or on the website? Thanks!
Website.
Edit: posted on the wrong thread by accident
I applied for this card today, and the application is still in process. I had read online that US Bank primarily pulls from TU and sometimes Equifax but it can also pull from Experian – based on what state the applicant resides. I live in NY. I hoped they would pull from TU or Equifax: I have 9 inquiries from Experian but only 1 from Equifax. But they pulled from Experian (sigh…grrr…wish me luck).
Have you got approved? Same happened with me today.
There is a $250 bonus w/ $1000 spend on this card, which is sent to me by email. Not sure if it is targeted.
YF Do you have a link that can be shared?
I also just got this promotion and it seems very targeted. It says “exclusive offer for new U.S. Bank Smartly Checking account customers” (which I am) and “To qualify for this promotion, you must apply online for the U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card through this promotional email or through the promotional offer you received in U.S Bank Online Banking or the U.S. Bank Mobile App”.
It also includes 0% APR for first 15 months, which it doesn’t seem like the general offer does.
Also the spend window is 120 days.

Made the qualifying gas purchase on 5/3. Hadn’t heard anything more about it. No offer tracking or other sign it had been applied. Was getting ready to ask CS about it. Today I get a message that a $10 statement credit has been applied, but there is no indication what it’s for. Seems they’re not great at communicating details on these.
I have the Altitude Go from US Bank already and a checking account with them. Will they approve me for this card as well with a 780 credit score? Or is having the Altitude Go with them an issue. I opened the Altitude Go in summer of 2022 so fairly recently.
