Does the department stores category basically cover any store in a mall viz. Levi’s, CK, Victoria secret, Nike etc or is it just limited to ones like Macys, JCPenney.

applied yesterday and got the 7-10 day response message. I have an 810 credit score and am 4/24. I hope I get approved as i want to get in with the $400 checking account bonus.

Got rejected initially due to too many inquiries. Called them up and explained that that was due to car loan shopping a few months back and all the inquires were within a week. Agreed to do a manual review and got approved.

As the Doc mentions in one of his blog posts about reconsideration calls, being polite and nice with the CSR is key. Thanks, Doc for the helpful articles!
