Uber has announced that it will end the Uber Rewards program on 10/31/22. The e-mail announcing the change states this is because they want to focus on the Uber One program.
Thank you for being part of Uber Rewards. It’s been a great ride, but we’ve decided to end Rewards soon, as we shift our focus to our new Uber One membership program.
You will still earn points and enjoy Rewards benefits until the end of the month. And there’s still time to get all the rewards you’ve earned: just use your points by October 31. You can redeem them from the Account section of your Uber and Uber Eats apps.

As always disappointing to see a rewards program retired, especially with so little notice.
Does the Jersey Mikes reward work on pickup? I think not but the terms aren’t clear. Thanks
I chose Uber over Lyft because of the rewards program – what a shame.
Not going to cry over this program ending; pretty minimal awards like 5% off Booking.com, etc…
Sad days, I just looked and have 1,000 points. I guess I’ll get some Starbucks coffee.
I only have 214 points. Nothing useful looks like. I will donate the points — at least there are some decent choices there.
Never earned a single reward
Used to get decent value when the program first came out. Nowadays, I’m not sure why anyone uses Uber when it only costs $5-10 more to use a private car service.

They say to redeem by 10/31 so I assume I can use the reward until its normal expiration date. For example a ride discount is good for 28 days meaning 11/27. Is that correct? Otherwise I have to redeem and use by 10/31.
My *guess* is you need to redeem your points for the offer by 10/31, but then the promo will have a specific expiration once added to your account.
