• Receive a bonus of 1,000 Unted miles when you spend $350 on their shopping portal between August 29th and September 9th, 2016

The Fine Print

• During the “Fall Fun & Sports” bonus campaign, which runs from 08/29/16 through 09/09/16 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 1,000 MileagePlus® bonus award miles on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard MileagePlus® miles earned from shopping online through the MileagePlus® Shopping mall.
• This one-time bonus award will be determined based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: 1,000 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $350 or more.
• “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles. Please see the MileagePlus® Shopping mall site for details on product eligibility and other restrictions.
• Please allow 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your MileagePlus® Shopping account.

Our Verdict

Works out to be an extra ~2.86x miles per $1 spent if you can hit that $350. Pretty good bonus, just keep in mind that gift cards are excluded. Make sure you compare rates using cashbackmonitor to ensure there aren’t better rates available.
