Free Memberships:

  • Robinhood Gold ($60 value) – normally $5 per month
  • Function Health ($365 value) *requires activation* – get a statement credit of $365 when you charge the $365 Function Health membership fee to your card. Customers in Hawaii and Rhode Island are not eligible for the Function Health Membership benefits. Customers in New York and New Jersey may be charged additional fees by Quest Diagnostics at the time of laboratory visits due to those states’ rules around lab test billing and administration.
  • Amazon Health ($199 value) – enroll to receive a sponsored annual Amazon One Medical membership which includes 24/7 on-demand virtual care and same/next day appointment booking in many U.S. cities. Regular Amazon One Medical annual membership cost is $199. In-office and scheduled remote visits are billed to individuals or insurance. Standard copay or deductibles may apply.
  • Whoop credit ($239 value) *requires activation* – get up to $239 in statement credits per year when making one or more eligible purchases on whoop.com through 12/31/2027. An eligible purchase is a purchase of a WHOOP Peak or other membership and the purchase of goods or services on whoop.com.
  • Free DoorDash DashPass membership
  • Eight Sleep (temporary deal through 9/15/26): promotional code redeemable for up to a $1,000 credit on a qualifying purchase on eightsleep.com.

Our Verdict

They’ve significantly changed most of the card credits from how it was initially announced a few months back.

Some impressions:

  • I can see this card for someone who anyway pays for some of the memberships. E.g. someone who anyway pays for Function and Robinhood Gold can save $425 by holding the card which offsets most of the annual fee.
  • The temporary Eight Sleep deal maybe (?) has some value for someone who plans on buying an Eight Sleep system.
  • Beyond the free memberships:
    • The $300 flight credit seems useful, but again the credit is for flights only (unlike the Sapphire Reserve which offers the broader travel category)
    • Some will find value in the hotel credit, but it’s not worth nearly $700.
    • The DoorDash, Dining, TSA, and Waymo credits are those marginal kind of benefits which can be useful but only help marginally to justify the annual fee.
    • The 5% rate on Dining is interesting – it’s the best cashback dining card out there. Even counting points cards, the 5% rivals the 4x on AmEx Gold and the 3x on the Chase Sapphire Preferred/Reserve.

In the end, without any signup bonus, this isn’t an easy card to justify sign up for or to justify the annual fee. But it can make sense for the right person who wants a cashback dining card or uses some of the health membership, and is able to make use of some of the flight credit and some of the other credits.
