- CVS (max 2,500 points – $25 back)
- AMC (max 4,000 points – $40 back)
- Bloomingdale’s (max 7,500 points – $75 back)
- Massage Envy
- PF Chang’s (max 4,000 points – $40 back)
Others are seeing just 15% back on these, not 40%.
The Fine Print
- Must activate offer to qualify.
- Offers can be used once
- In-store only.
- Offer changes will require re-activation of the new offer.
- Bonus Cash Rewards will be earned when using your Wells Fargo rewards-based credit card for qualifying purchases made at participating dining locations.
- Bonus Cash Rewards will be earned based on the net purchase (purchases minus returns/credits) of eligible goods and services purchased, excluding tax, shipping and handling, or any special services.
- Bonus Cash Rewards will be added to your Rewards Account within 30 days of purchase.
- Bonus Cash Rewards will not be earned at dining locations who are not Participating Merchants in the Earn More Mall Feature.”
Our Verdict
Gift card purchases have previously worked when doing this. CVS is obviously a no-brainer due to the wide variety of gift cards sold there. Max out the CVS deal with a $62.50 purchase.
Some of the others could make sense too for gift card reselling. And of course, you can just use these organically as well, 40% is an incredible deal.

anybody get their cash back yet? i split payment on a $500 gift card at CVS.
i paid $65 with my WF card, and so far i’ve only received the 65 rewards points, no bonus cash back as of yet. maybe it will show up. wondering if WF is going to start enforcing the “gift cards don’t earn bonus” rule.
Redeemed my bonus 40% already, while the base 1.5% is still pending
Bought a store-locked gift card (for a fast food chain, to actually gift) plus some OTC medication at a CVS, got e-mail with subject line of “Your Earn More Mall(R) purchase statement is ready to view” 4 days later confirming bonus earn. Due to the bonus amount and the purchase total, it’s clear the gift card portion of the purchase counted.
I did the cvs and massage envy deals and only received the bonus on the cvs purchase. Nothing on massage envy, and the purchases were the same day (2/14/19). Anyone else having issue with massage envy 40% back deal posting?

does bloomingdale’s sell 3rd party gc?
All 5 of the offers listed in article showed up for me at 40% & same limits. No-fee Propel Amex, which gets only modest use. I usually get 15% or so when others get the high %, so this is a change for me.
Would the deal work at a Longs Drug’s store? I checked the CVS website and my local Longs store was listed.
Yup. I’m getting 40 points per dollar back from PF Changs, AMC, CVS, and Massage Envy. Same way though, I can only earn 2500 points with CVS. If I did my math right, would that be $63.00 to spend and receive 2500 points (equal to $25.00)?

AMC showing up to $40 Bonus back and Bloomingdales up to $75. Possible to buy $100 AMC GC and get $40 back and then $200 Bloomingdales GC to get $75 back? Also do these mentioned merchants sell Visa or MC GC? Thanks for the heads up on this.
I got targeted with all 5 offers on the Platinum Cash Back card
