Our Verdict
Junior fries are $0.99, think that’s the cheapest option. Sometimes Wendy’s offers other free items via the app as well and when that is available you can get both for free (based on past promos), although the other free items are extremely rare.
Probably to compete with McD’s 50 cent double cheeseburger:

Expiration: 9/25/2023
I got my Spicy Sandwich and junior fries today for a grand total of $1.27 after tax.
It’s back….
Junior fries are $1.39 in MN. Let’s map it out.
2 things. 1, the junior fries and junior frosty are $2.49+tax each here in HI :O 2, the cheapest item on the menu is the junior hamburger.
Yikes! How about the apple slices?
FYI, this deal can only be redeemed on Sundays in April, i.e. 4/11, 4/18, and 4/25. If you missed your chance today, you have two more.
Junior fries are $1.19 in my market. Apple bites and Junior Frosty are 99¢.
Spicy Chicken Sandwich retails for $5.19 and 10pc spicy nuggets for $3.29, so sandwich is the better value.
The fries are $1.89 at my local Wendy’s but the Frosty is 99c. Will try to remember to go next Sunday.
4 piece nuggets is $1.29 also
so you can get those as well, and then pick up your free Chicken Sandwhich
Sadly, the 4-piece are $1.99 (!) at my Wendy’s. Ridiculous since I can get a 10 pack for $1.49 at Burger King down the road.
Drop is offering 60pts per dollar spent at Wendys. This is a card linked offer so make sure you’ve done that and use that card to make the purchase. Just a stacking opportunity. 1 John 4:7-8
Is this a premium chicken sandwich or something like the McChicken? A few weeks ago, I noticed that in the app McDonalds was basically giving away their premium new chicken sandwich (either totally free or by buying a $1 Coke). This may still be happening. I tried it a couple times and thought it was in no way competitive with Chick-Fil-A. The regular price for the new McDonalds sandwich is $4 to $5. BTW, the McDonalds app almost ALWAYS gives away very cheap food, and it’s quite convenient to pick it up with their curbside delivery (skipping the drive through line). The food tends to be very mediocre (I wouldn’t eat it at home), but it is tremendous value if you’re on the road.
this is their more premium type of chicken
Agree with McDonald’s convenient curbside delivery
It’s great until something goes wrong and you have to dispute with your CC. Seriously, that’s their policy:
What if I have an issue with a payment or want a refund?
Please contact your bank if you have any questions about charges reflected on your payment card statement or to dispute a restaurant transaction for a charge on your payment card.

I also tried the new McDonalds premium sandwich and it was terrible. Popeyes, Chick Fil a, Wendys and even KFC’s were better (I was actually surprised how good KFC’s was)
I’ve never had a free or even $1 chicken sandwich offer from McD’s. Best I have seen is the $6 meal.
I did have an excellent deal at a local Popeye’s. They had their four sandwich Family Feast with fries and biscuits priced wrong in the system, it was showing as free. I had to add four drinks for $4 to get it to load to the cart, but then was able to delete those and actually placed the order for free. I didn’t do it very often, just twice, and was wrong for weeks before they finally fixed it, and now it’s $20, which is what it shows at other locations. They do still have a pricing error on the sandwich and chicken Big Family Feast, showing $20 instead of $38 or so, but that doesn’t interest me.
Damn you Bill for sharing this now. Instead of 30 lbs gained since Thanksgiving, I could’ve been 50 lbs. over.
Mine says Sunday only…
