Our Verdict

It’s possible to get items for free with this (just pay tax). I personally love free stuff and candles make good small gifts/stocking stuffers.

Not a single Yankee Candle store in California?

They have mini candles (pack of 12) for $10.
Otherwise their small jar candles are $11. I got the jar candles as they are nicer.

Wow, so you all just go deep for something free? Use it in combination for even better discounts! No wonder retailers are going under. Offer something great and idiots have to run in and rape the system

Plus, Yankee Candle knows exactly what they are doing.

They know there will be people like us who try to spend as close to $10 as possible, but they also know that a promotion like this could get people in the store who normally would not have gone. Those customers may end up spending far more than $10.

Exactly! I enter their store only during these promotions and usually go home spending few more dollars on some Car freshener or something. Companies want more people come and try out their products hoping few of them become regular. That’s how promotions like these works.

FYI – I print one for each of my family member and shop the store. I have went to 2 stores on the same day when it used to be close by.

There are some items on sale for $5 but “sale items do not qualify for any other promotions or discounts”.

For non-candle-users looking for cheap stuff not much more than $10, the candle toppers and trays could be reused for other decorative purposes, and the wick cutters could be useful for some other awkward cutting needs. That’s what I’d get IF I had a store nearby – check that first before you bother looking for products, lol.

Oh, and there are a bunch of non-sale candle holders for $5 and $10.

I did this a few years ago and I think it was $20 off $20.

Really? That is crazy.

I remember a $10 off $10 from two years ago or so, but I’ve never heard of that one.
