- New benefits are coming March 30th
- Annual fee of $450 is not waived the first year
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 2x points per $1 spent on purchases made directly from the American Express travel website
- 1.5x points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases of $5,000 or more (up to 1 million extra points per year)
- 1x points on all other purchases
- 50% of points back when redeemed for first/business class tickets or any fare class with your selected airline
- $200 airline incidental credit per calendar year

Spend requirement is quite high at $10,000. The nice thing about upgrade offers is that there is no hard pull done and you can get the bonus even if you’ve held the card before (somewhat getting around the once per lifetime rule). Some people might be more interested in the business card given the changes they are making to the benefits on March 30th and also the fact they have improved guest access on priority pass lounges. This is also a different upgrade offer than previously offered so worth checking again if you weren’t eligible last time.
