The Offer
- Chase is offering some cardholders a spend bonus. There are three different tiers. The offer a reader sent was as follows:
- Earn 1,200 bonus miles when you spend $4,200 during the calendar month registered through August 31, 2020
- Earn 1,800 bonus miles when you spend $4,800 during the calendar month registered through August 31, 2020
- Earn 2,400 bonus miles when you spend $5,300 during the calendar month registered through August 31, 2020
Our Verdict
Seems like a lot of spend for a relatively small bonus, but everybody will have different offers so some might be better than others.

Not a spend bonus, but I got a 1500 points offer for paying 4 bills – phone, cable, internet, utilities, insurance – by September 1 using my reserve … it’s probably been posted somewhere on this site already.
