Very weird, haven’t gotten any new offers lately. Been getting used to all the crazy 10-20% back offers over the past year. I just hope they’re not limiting offers because of covid or something…

Is there still a way to get this card by product changing to it?

Must be a Citi Sears cardholder for a full year before PCing to TYP version?

A few people in some of the previous Sears posts said you can’t PC to the TYP version anymore, but I can’t verify as I haven’t tried as I don’t want to mess with my currently running promos. The Shop Your Way version give promos for statement credits instead of TYP which is still decent.

A rep told me over the phone that they are currently doing a gradual PC for people who have the legacy TYP version and converting them into the SYW one. She said eventually everyone will be converted. Not sure how accurate that information is, but it sounds right.

On one account I got 20% back in TYP, up to 6000 pts/month.

On another I got 5% back in TYP upt to 15000 pts/month. Just wondering if GCM will work for this. Hope so. They exclude “similar cash-like transactions”. GC purchases at Grocery Store have always worked for me though. Currentyly getting about $1K value/month from the GC promos I have on 3 cards. 25K at 10% bonus on a couple of accounts and 25K on 5% bonus on another.

Great deal. I have collected 100K’s of TYP via various SearsCard promo’s. Worked well with Prestige 4th night free and Premier 25% more value redeeming for travel (which is going away).

I also got 10% back with $150/mo max. for may/jun/july

They also sent an offer for 10% back on purchases of $2,000+ per month (max $250/mo) for gas/restaurants/grocery stores

Do you interpret the second offer as you must spend $4500 to get the full $250/mo as the first 2k is nothing received? Legitimately speaking is that even possible to spend 2k/mo on groceries/restaurants/gas? Without gift card purchases?

Nah, I got similar offers in the past like this. The offers I get usually are nowhere near as high (usually ~$500 spend for me), but the terms are the same. Once you hit $2000 spend in that month, you’ll get at least the $200. Then you can spend up to $2500 to get the full $250.

I’m currently doing 5% back on gas/restaurant/grocery, but up to $250/mo for 3 months. This is on top of 10% of online purchases up to $150/mo. So $400/ mo in statement credits plus tons of sywr points to boot. These deals continuously roll over. They do vary the terms for every 3 month offer.

Anyone know if I can buy visa/MasterCard gift cards online? In the $400 value?

This should work with literally any transaction that codes as “Online”. Just beware some purchases that would seem to be obviously “online” sometimes get categorized as something else. The Sears card site doesn’t tell you, but if you have another Citi card it should show up in the transaction details under “Payment method”.
