I tried using Google Express for the very first time the other day. The day after I ordered I got an email that my order was cancelled because the item was out of stock (at Target), wasting my 1st-time-user discount and amex offer at the same time while receiving nothing…

I got a 20% off coupon and max $20. I was going to buy some things from Target anyways, so this was perfect timing.
20% off, max $100.
It is blocking my only credit card with Amex offer somehow if I want to use coupon. If I don’t use coupon, then the credit card went through just fine
I called Google Express on 4/26/18…they said currently there is a “glitch” with using American Express cards on Google Express and that the “glitch” would be fixed “in a few days”….by that time the $20 Amex credit will expire.
A very convenient glitch…
