The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Sam’s Club is offering a gift card of up to $120 for visiting Sam’s Club stores. The gift card you receive will depend on how many times you visit a Sam’s Club between February 1st and March 31st, 2019. You need to spend at least $1 each trip. The earning table is as follows:

The Fine Print

  • Must register on this page by 02/28/2019 to qualify.
  • Specific trip bonus will be loaded onto a Sam’s Club eGift card for spending at least $1 (before taxes) each visit at Sam’s Club (excluding fuel, cafè, gift cards, alcohol, tobacco, prescriptions, dairy, eggs) with a maximum gift card amount of $120 per eligible account (trip bonus offer is available for a maximum of one transaction only in a day and for a maximum of 15 transactions in 2 months).
  • Offer is (a) only available to the specific member account at the mailed address; (b) void if copied, transferred or otherwise shared; (c) valid on in-club purchases only, including Scan & Go; (d) not valid online; and (e) not valid on purchases made with government funded assistance programs like WIC or SNAP. We will email you a Sam’s Club eGift card loaded with the total amount you’ve earned by May 31st 2019.
  • For questions, please send an email to [email protected]. Sam’s Club may modify or discontinue this offer at any time without notice.

Our Verdict

Seems like great deal if targeted, remember you’re limited to one transaction per day so unfortunately you can’t just do 15 transactions back to back. It’s also weird that the registration form is on delivery.net and not the official Sam’s Club website, the e-mail sent out looked legitimate but I personally hate when companies do this with promotions as it’s difficult to confirm if it’s legitimate or not.

I received the offer via US postal service from Sams Club. I signed up and have already gone 12 times so I believe it is a legit deal and will be getting the $120 after I make at least 3 more visits.

This is the funniest thing — I registered for it, thinking this “offer” came from samsclub, and I’ve been going to the club. Meantime, something is very odd about this, because when I checked (twice) with samsclub, they knew nothing about it. I checked because I wanted to make sure they had me registered and I wasn’t going for nothing. The customer service desk got me in touch with corporate and again, they knew nothing about it. And you know what happened then, for some reason unbeknownst to me? The ENTIRE EMAIL OFFER disappeared from my email account. Weird. Can’t find it, tried contacting yahoo to see if they could retrieve it, but I doubt it. I don’t think it’s legit, next time I fall for something like this before I do, I’m going to check with corporate office to make sure it’s legit. Wow is all I can say.

It is 100% legitimate but you had to receive a card in the mail from Sam’s to be eligible. I had to get a replacement card because I lost mine and asked if my visits would still show on the new card (since they don’t print out you picture anymore and they just grab a new card with a member number already on it. I was told yes it would carry over.

It’s really unfortunate that Sam’s is choosing to do all these targeted/new user offers while doing nothing for most existing members. Almost enough to cancel my membership so they can win me back later.

Hi, I did the online chat with a Sam’s Club representative, and Cesar was very helpful and did confirm that the offer is legitimate. However, it is by invite only, so if you did not receive the email, then it probably won’t let you apply (I was unable to apply).

Wonder who is targeted? I tried all 5 of my plus memberships and none were valid.

I got the original email. Only thing I can think of is the promo period straddles my membership expiration. Maybe that’s who they’re targeting.

Didn’t get an email and didn’t qualify and my membership (basic) expires end of February.

Consider this one email that Wikileaks exposed that everyone here would receive as good news: https://wikileaks.org/hbgary-emails/emailid/41742

It looks like Sam’s Club has used this format in their advertisements since at least 2010, if this leaked email has any veracity, so it looks legitimate.
