The app sent me a notification today for a different (worse) offer: get $5 if you make 3 purchases by March 12, 2019.

Venmo is by far the best app for splitting purchases between friends for split ubers, meals, utility payments etc. I’m 23 and literally everyone I know under the age of 40 (except my girlfriend who still files paper tax returns for some reason) uses Venmo.
Interesting. About a quarter of my friends use venmo (28 yo). Few use cash app. PayPal is the biggest. I have all 3 because I’m going to earn a few cents back vs them using debit.
Are there any signup bonuses for Venmo?
AFAIK, no
They previously had bonuses (either for regular signup or for referrals) but they don’t seem to anymore.
