[YMMV]10,000 Hilton Points For Adding An Additional User

The Offer

This direct link might work (look on the left side)

  • Add an additional person to your Hilton HHonors card from American Express and receive 10,000 points

10k points

The Fine Print

  • Must add a cardholder using the e-mailed links
  • Valid until July 20th, 2016
  • Allow 6-8 weeks for your bonus points to post
  • Additional cardholders must be at least 15 years of age

Our Verdict

There is no fee to add an additional cardholder, just keep in mind authorized user accounts do count towards the Chase 5/24 rule. That being said this is an easy way to score 10,000 bonus points. There are also increased sign up bonuses on both the American Express Hilton cards currently (share your referral links in this linked post):

@Nil. Never mind. I see the points posted within 2 days.

Anyone know if you can get this bonus more than once for adding multiple AUs?

Just as a side note…that chase authorized user thing may not be a hard rule…I had an analyst offer to check my card openings if he omitted all the authorized user cards! I was still over and he couldn’t approve me anyway unfortunately.

I’d like to add my wife, but I’m trying to keep her under the Chase 5/24 so we can get more Chase cards in the future. It’s a shame that Chase counts AU in their 5/24 rule.

This was my question as well. So the issue of the 5/24 rule would apply to the AU not myself. Correct?
