Our Verdict

Virgin America offered 500 points as a sign up bonus in the past and also gave you up to 7,500 points for actually flying, they’ve also given out 500 points as a holiday bonus for existing customers. Virgin America points are worth a fixed value of 2.2¢ a piece when redeeming for domestic flights, you can redeem with their partners as well but they charge a high fuel surcharge. American Express is also offering a 50% transfer bonus until March 10th.
