Recently BBVA increased the sign up bonus on their NBA card to $200 after $1,000 in spend within 90 days. The offer itself was a bit confusing as the landing page showed this offer and when you clicked apply it showed the $100 offer. BBVA ensured people that they would get the $200 offer and it was just a website mistake.
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case and people are only receiving the $100 offer when they complete the minimum spend requirement. Fortunately you can get the bonus you were promised, but you need to let BBVA know that you didn’t get the full bonus as promised. To do so, either send them a secured message or call.
