There are a few separate offers now available for the Marriott Rewards credit card.
Contents
$200 Marriott Gift Card + 55,000 Points
- Signup for the Marriott Rewards Premier credit card from Chase and receive a $200 Marriott gift card and 50,000 Marriott points after spending $3,000 within 3 months.
- Also, receive an additional 5,000 points after adding an authorized user and making a purchase within 3 months.
- Annual fee is waived the first year, then $85.
- Apply before January 31, 2016.
Caution: The landing page makes it sound a little that this is a targeted offer as it says: “Reply before January 31, 2016″ versus the standard, ‘Apply by January 31, 2016’. All the other language of the terms makes it sound like a regular credit card offer with the regular 24-month lingo etc., so I assume it will work for anyone.

- Also, receive an additional 7,500 points after adding an authorized user and making a purchase within 3 months.
- Annual fee is waived the first year, then $85.
- Apply by December 31, 2015.
Note: This offer has a stated limitation that it’s only available to Marriott Rewards members.

Final Thoughts
Call me a party-pooper, but I’m thinking of going for the first offer and just selling off the gift card for $176 to Cardpool. From what I read on Reddit, it sounds like Marriott points can also be converted into a Marriott gift card; the 55,000 points will become at least $200 in Marriott gift cards. This will bring the total cash value of the signup bonus to $352 after selling the gift cards – with no annual fee. Not bad. I’m due for a Southwest application in a few weeks and if this offer holds until then, it could make sense to throw it in and get the inquiries combined.
Depending how you value Marriott points, the other offers may be better.
