$100 BP Gift Card for Just $90, Limit 3

The Offer

Direct Link

  • SVM Gift Cards on eBay is offering $100 BP gift card for just $90. Limit 3.

The Fine Print

  • “Limited quantity available” There appears to be close to 20,000 available.

Our Verdict

This is another money-maker deal here. You can resell the gift cards for around 90% or more. You’ll profit from the 2% eBay Bucks and 1.1% from the portal and 270 free credit card points.

If we’ll assume you get 2% back from the credit card:

  • $5.40 from credit card
  • $2.97 from portal
  • $5.40 eBay Bucks
  • [$4.50 Possible 1.5% profit from selling to Saveya for 91.5%]
  • Subtotal: $13.77  [or $18.27 from selling to Saveya]
  • -$1.93 cost of shipping gift cards
  • Total: $11.84 [or $16.34 with Saveya]

Bear in mind that there is a chance of devaluations of the gift card and you may not actually end up being able to sell it for 90%. That said, it probably won’t devalue too much so you shouldn’t end up with a loss, in any case.

Or you can just use the gift cards if you have a BP station nearby. You can use these gift cards at Arco as well.

There’s also Jiffy Lube, iTunes, JC Penny, Sports Authority, and Bass Pro Shops gift cards available at discounted prices on eBay (Lowe’s sold out). Remember to use up any eBay gift cards on the purchase as well.

Hey there,

Just as an FYI, it seems that the USPS increased the price of many of its services on 5/31/15. The current price for First Class package weighing up to 3 oz is now $2.04 vs. $1.93; I don’t think the $.11 increase is a deal breaker, but something to take into account since the margins can be very thin at times.

Glad I waited on this on. I just received a 4x eBay bucks offer (8% back) that really sweetened the deal. Check your emails for the offer before you pounce!

One caveat if reselling, BP is one company that does not replace lost gc.

Unfortunately yes. Shell I’m told has same language but never looked into it. I have noted Chevron/Texaco says they’ll replace. On moneymetagame someone commented a retailer refused to replace cards that were sent for resale…so perhaps best to avoid that language in any case.

Hey Chuck, what shipping option do you use for gift cards that you quoted as $2? Thanks.

he probably uses first class package. my question is: first class package requires you to have a tick object inside envelope. Do you (Chuck) worry about this or you just put it in a regular envelope?

How do you print a First Class shipping label? USPS website only has Priority Mail.
