I value 100 Marriott points at about $0, but this could be useful if you need to extend the life of your points (they expire after 24 months of no activity) or if you are a little short or an award you need. Chances are if you’re still reading this you have some spare time, so just go fill it out and be done with it. You can view more free mile and point opportunities here.
Is there any way without staying at a Marriott or buying or transferring points or redeeming points, to keep points active now? Waht is the minimu redemption option ?
So was this just a marketing scam to get our Marriott reward number?

Why does everyone seem to think doing this will extend the expiration date of your Marriott points? From what I can tell the rules are pretty clear that these do *NOT* count: http://www.marriott.com/Images/Rewards/Points_Policy/FAQs_Point_Expiration_MR_Member_Version_FINAL1.pdf
Has extended them in the past for similar promos despite what the fine print says.
did anyone receive these survey points &, if so, did it extend the he expiration date of your Marriott points
