Can you use GCs to pay for a $3000 stay? Or is there a cap per transaction?
Extremely frustrating since the vendor doesn’t accept a credit card directly and forces you to go through PayPal. I tried to buy 5 of them, and PayPal sent me through a crazy verification system. The ebay.com website was working perfectly, but the paypal.com verification check kept crashing and couldn’t verify my identity. After an hour and a half of being on the phone with PayPal, I’ve decided to close my PayPal account.
Long story short, this post is the reason why I no longer have a PayPal account.
Bought 2 an hour ago. Just received an email from the seller: “We know you haven’t received all of your order from us yet — we’re sorry. We’re working to fix the problem, but if you don’t receive your gift card(s) in the next 23 hours, please contact us.”
Took about 3 hours total. Finally received them via email.
Anyone use more than 1 AirBNB card per stay?
I think you can just add these gift cards to your AirBnB account. So if you got 5 you could add all 5 to your account, to be used whenever.
From my past experience the GC can be added to an AirBnb account, pretty much the same way as how you add an Amazon GC.
Just beware that you cannot apply these to already booked stays, even if you haven’t yet fully paid for the stay.
Yes you can. You just have to call them. I’ve done it many times.
You could add a thousand Airbnb GCs to your account. No limit/max GC issues to worry about.
