The Offer
- Sell $25 worth of items on eBay and receive a $25 eBay coupon.
This offer is available for new eBay sellers or for an eBay seller who has not sold anything since April 30,2015. If you meet this criterion, the system will probably allow you to activate the offer and it will show the offer as added to your account.
The terms are clear that even if you did not receive the invitation for this offer via email, you are eligible for the offer so long as you activate the offer on the promotional page and are approved for the offer.
The Fine Print
- Must activate offer first
- Must list the item by August 31, 2015
- Item must sell and be paid in full by September 10, 2105
- Must sell $25 worth of items in order to be eligible for coupon – the $25 threshold can be combined between various sold items
- The $25 threshold does not count shipping fees or taxes
- Coupon will be issued no later than September 24, 2015
- Coupon will have an expiration date
Our Verdict
I sold a couple things recently which invalidates me for this offer. If I was eligible, I’d be jumping on this offer. I’d purchase a $25 gift card from Walmart.com, which would come in the mail within a few days. After receiving the card, I’d list it for sale at $25 with free shipping. (It should sell with no problem, in my experience.) There would be a few dollar loss on the eBay/Paypal/shipping fees, but I’d end up with a $25 eBay coupon, which I value like cash, for a net profit of over $20.
