Now I continue to see this in My Offers online but not on the mobile app…..
My offer has an expiration of 6/19.
Same mine says expires at 1:59am on June 19th
Apparently the $5 cashback is fixed amount, so the beer can be any price above or below $5.
Do you think this would work at a brewery? Not sure if those code as a bar, or how exactly Ibotta is determining what is a bar or restaurant…
pretty sure it would. I don’t think breweries ever get categorized separately on CC transactions
I think it would work just fine, because Ibotta is just seeing a picture of the receipt. Unlike credit card MCC dependent offers, this is just proof of purchase. A brewery is a bar in my book, and even if they rejected it, I would contact them and they would probably fix it. Good luck.
