$5 Off Any Giftcard At Cardpool – New Users Only ($10 Giftcard For Less Than $5)

The Offer

Direct link to offer (note this is a referral link)

  • Cardpool is offering a discount of $5 on any gift card you purchase if your a new user, you need to use the code “NewUser5”. They sell a bunch of gift cards for less than $10, so this is a discount of over 50%. You could even resell the gift card for a profit, for example they have $10 Target gift cards for $9.55 ($4.55 after discount). You could resell this for 90.5% facevalue to Giftcards.com ($9.05) for a profit of $4.5 (plus credit card points) – although it’s probably not worth the hassle.

  • Only available to new users

Our Verdict

This is a nice little way to save 50%+ on a $10 gift card. This promotion is always running, so there isn’t really any hurry to do it. If you use my link, I’ll also receive a $5 bonus so thanks if you decide to use it. You might also want to consider using Chuck’s link as he wrote the epic “The Complete Guide to Selling your Unwanted Gift Cards for Cash“.

Please do NOT post your referral links in the comments. I’ll be giving away my referral codes/gift cards in an up coming competition, use Chuck’s as a way to say thank you for his posts.

Looks like your link is no longer working, but I think the referral promo is still happening.

can anyone share which box to put in the code “NewUser5”, I see 2 options, 1 is “promo code”, and “cardpool card number”, and I tried both, and none works.

I’d guess it’s the promo code box. Maybe that promo code is no longer valid?

thanks, Chuck. I agree, the promo must be no longer valid, since I tried NewUser5 both mixedcase and lower case, but no success.

Signed up with Chuck’s link. Online verification isn’t working right now, so Cardpool said I’d be receiving a call during business hours. We shall see…

Any experience on selling gift card to them?

I mailed my giftcard to them, but they emailed me claiming there’s 0 balance on the card after they received it.

It is a scam, as I found many similar reviews online.

Used your referral. Tried ordering my first gift card and had to answer verification questions (which made no sense). I haven’t heard anything and it’s been almost a day. I’m guessing there is a problem with the verification. I ordered an eGift card which should have arrived by now. Can anyone shed some light on this verification process and what’s happening??

Order was cancelled. “Our risk assessment team has determined that we aren’t able to process your order at this time. We’ve gone ahead and cancelled order #xxxxxxxxxx.”

Thanks. Used your link – happy to for the amount of information I have received from this blog! Purchased a $10 e-gift card for Starbucks. Was easy to re-load onto my existing account. Ended up costing me about $4 net.

When I used cardpool at the first time (some point in the past), the first order was canceled by the website and the new user bonus eligibility was lost. 🙁

Try contacting them, they’re usually good about issuing a replacement.

When I try to sell $10 GC to giftcards.com, it says balance is too low to be sold

many gift card buyers have a minimum gc amount that they accept.
