[Expired] Acorns $55 Referral Bonus + $105 For Referrer With Simple $5 Deposit (Plus $400 With 2 Referrals)

Update: seems the offers were not stackable, so it might depend on which offers you were targeted for. Sorry for anyone who missed out with this!

There seem to be a few bonuses working in tandem on Acorns on the moment, valid from July 17 – July 23, 2022, just needing a simple $5 deposit (via linked bank account) by the new member within 14 days to be eligible for all of these:

1. $5 for new member who signs up and $5 for the referrer
2. $50 for new member who signs up using a referral link
3. $100 for the referrer for each referral. Max $600 total with six referrals.
4. $400 for someone who refers two people.

$50/$100 Bonus

• Acorns – Invite Friends, Get $100 and Give $50

• Each time someone becomes a new Acorns subscriber and sets up an Acorns Invest account using your personal invitation code or referral link that you shared with them during the promotional period (July 17 – July 23, 2022) in accordance with the eligibility criteria below, referrer will receive a $100 investment by Acorns in their Acorns Invest account.
• Each new eligible Acorns subscriber referred by you during the promotional period (July 17 – July 23, 2022) who completes the set up of their Acorns Invest account and makes a first investment within fourteen (14) days after the end of the Promotional Period will receive a $50 investment by Acorns in their Acorns Invest account.
• These rewards will be made each time you and your referral meet the eligibility criteria below in accordance with the Acorns Referral Agreement.
• Limit $600 in bonuses per Referrer.

$400 Deal

• July 2022 Referral Bonus – $400 for 2 Acorns Referral

• Friends must complete registration between 12:00am PST 7/17/2022 and 11:59pm PST 7/23/2022 (the Promotional Period) and each have a verified account in good standing and make their first successful investment into an Acorns Invest Account by 8/6/2022. Bonuses will be invested within 14 days once Acorns verifies all eligibility criteria have been met. Referral awards are made at the sole discretion of Acorns. All referrals must be made in accordance with the Acorns Referral Agreement and Referral Promotion Terms and Conditions. Limit one Bonus per Referrer.

$5/$5 Bonus 

• Acorns – Invite Friends, Get $5 and Give $5

• Each time someone becomes a new Acorns subscriber and sets up an Acorns Invest account using your personal invitation code or referral link that you shared with them during the promotional period (July 17 – July 23, 2022) in accordance with the eligibility criteria below, you will receive a $5 investment by Acorns in your Acorns Invest account. Account Fees

There is a $3 monthly fee with Acorns. You’ll probably end up paying at least one monthly fee when doing this deal. I don’t know exactly how long it takes Acorns until they deposit the new member $50 + $5 bonuses.

The Fine Print

• These deals are valid July 17 – July 23, 2022

Our Verdict

• With a simple signup, the new member who funds $5 within 14 days should get $55 and the referrer should get $105.
• If someone refers two people, each new member should land up with $55 and the referrer should land up with $610 ($105 + $105 + $400).
• If someone refers six people, each new member should land up with $55 and the referrer should land up with $1,030 ($105 x 6 = $630 + $400 = $1,030).

Again, there is a $3 monthly fee which eats a bit into the profits. Still could be a nice deal overall.

Acorns often has nice referral bonuses, but those typically don’t have any decent bonus for the new member and typically require multiple referrals before getting anything for the referrer. This new bonus has a nice $50/$100 bonus with a single referral. Works well especially for someone in 2-player mode or 3-player mode.

You should be able to signup now with a referral link (or the Swagbucks deal), then refer two friends and get $765 between the 3 of you ($55 + $100 + $100 + $400 + $55 + $55). Hopefully this all works as advertised. I believe you would get the referral capabilities immediately with signup, maybe someone can confirm this in the comments.

Note: the $50 bonus is not showing on the referral landing page. Hopefully there won’t be any issues with the tracking of either the $50 + $5 bonus for new member or the $100 + $5 bonus for referrer.
