The Fine Print
- Valid until February 29th, 2020
- The indicated total purchase price (including miles, taxes, and fees) is nonrefundable and available only for Mileage Plan award travel on Fiji Airlines for travel between North America and Hawaii and the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.
Our Verdict
It’s a shame that the 50% discount only applies to Economy travel, the business discount isn’t nearly as generous. Taxes and fees are extremely low as well which is great. Availability seems good for Economy flights, but much more difficult to find for business flights.

Awesome! I was looking into booking flights to NZ today and was planning on paying 30-40k one-way. 20k one-way with a quick stopover in Fiji sounds even better!
Tempting… but also tempting to pay 55k to fly on Qantas with lie flats, as most Fiji flights only have angle flats.
They do on A350 from LAX.
I saw that, but don’t see much (any?) award availability.
Just booked 2 roundtrip tickets to NZ with a 5 night stop over in Fiji. Flying into AKL and out of CHC in June for 80k plus $360 in taxes. Happy new year!
