The Offer
Direct Link (use the ‘Other’ filter and you’ll find these coupons)
- Purchase any two eBay gift cards and receive a $10 discount with digital coupon.
- Save 20% on any amount of Gap/Banana/Old Navy gift cards with digital coupon.
- Save $10 off two $25 Sephora gift cards with digital coupons.
You need to save the digital coupon in order to get these deals. As such, it is tied to your card and can only be done once. In the past, it’s been possible to reload the coupon again after using it once, so you may be able to keep on doing this deal. Please let us know if this works for this deal and we’ll update the post.
The eBay gift card deal appears to be for two $25 eBay gift cards, so you’ll end up getting $50 in eBay gift cards for $40 – a 20% discount. Great deal!
[UPDATE: Readers comment that the Gap deal is only working for $100 at a time to take off $2o. If you buy $150, for example, it will only take off $20. You need to split it up into separate transactions.]
The Fine Print
- Coupons must be saved by 7/25/15
- Coupons expire 8/1/15
Our Verdict
All three deals are very interesting.
The eBay gift card deal is awesome! If it could be repeated by reloading the coupon, you can lock in a 20% discount on your future eBay purchases. (There is probably going to be a bunch of gift cards sales on eBay this week and I noted on Twitter.)

The Gap deal is interesting. The big advantage of the Gap deal is that you can buy high amounts in one purchase without having to reload the coupon. Most of the exchanges are only offering in the mid-70 for Gap/Banana/Old Navy, but Giftcardzen is still offering 80% for now. This could be an easy way to manufacture free credit card points with a bonus grocery store category. Of course there is a very real risk here since you’re relying on one exchange and their rates can easily go down. This deal is probably not worth doing for most people. [The Kroger folks can finally take revenge on the Safeway folks!]
The Sephora deal is interesting. Assuming you can reload the coupon, you can more easily resell these for 80% break-even rates and profit the credit card points. Saveya, Giftcardzen, and Cardcash are all offering 80% for now. While there is the hassle of having to checkout multiple times (one checkout per $50 of gift cards), you may be doing that anyway in order to get the eBay gift card deal. While you’re doing the eBay, pick up the Sephora along with it and manufacture free credit card points along the way. There is risk of devaluation here as well, but the risk is smaller than with the Gap deal.
Fuel Points
Along with the great deals on gift cards, you’ll also be racking up lots of fuel points. The standard is to get 2x fuel points on gift card purchases. Some are reporting receiving offers of 4x fuel points until 7/28 – check out your account to see if you have this offer.

Giftcardzen rejected my offers of the GAP branded cards to them this morning. Took the risk….err
Did they reject sale after your sale was approved and sent the cards in? My sale offer was accepted and they asked me to send the cards in so I did.. I am wondering if they will change their mind after receiving the cards for what ever reason. I’ve also sold few to Kangaroo too… waiting for the cards to arrive there. let’s see what happens but I figured if this doesn’t work out, I think I can sell them on ebay for a decent price later… even if at little loss, 4x fuel point should make it up. My diesel truck takes 27 gallons and with two 5 gallon gas can, I save $35 per 1000 points redeemed.
Datapoint: I bought two $25 eBay GCs yesterday. The money to pay was $40, but the fuel points earned was 50*4=200. (I got the targeted 4x fuel points coupon.)
And it seems no way to use the coupon on one Kroger/Ralphs card more than once.
Correct, the fuel points are paid on the full amount, not the net final pay after discount, which is good. 🙂
I want to post a correction data point:
When I went 2 days back, I tried to do multiple cards $100 each for up to $500 and it was taking only $20 off. Manager also couldn’t help and she suggested to do 1 transaction at a time which I agreed and I could not get offer back. The reason to do $100 each card was those are fastest selling cards in my experience. Today I went back (Just came from Kroger) and I bought my remaining option which I didn’t do the other day- “Gap Options”, I did $300 (again that’s max I wanted to do on 1 card, its Saveya’s maximum amount per card and I believe Giftcardzen might reject a bigger amount card due to high inventory? and boom- $60 off. So its definitely possible get full $100 discount for $500 card. Which means the offers wording of 1 or more is wrong. It allows discount on 1 brand only for 1 time.
I regret going first day as I had only 2x fuel points that day and TODAY I got offer in my Kroger account for 4x fuel points for a week!!
Anyways, I hope this helps others. But I still want to make my point- Higher denomination cards have more chance of rejection from Giftcardzen, but the Cardcash/Cardpool might accept it. With fuel points you still come ahead after selling it even at 75%.
I had a quick question. What if you just wanna get rid of all these ebay GCs that you buy? What if you don’t want to purchase any other GCs on ebay using these, and just wanna cash them out? What’s the best way for that? Thanks a lot in advance!
Why? But if you are still planning to sell, You can sell me at 90% Lol….
Would only allow one discount of $100 on gap for me as well in KY.
Thanks
Just came back from the Kroger. For Ebay and Sephora- $25/card and 2 cards deduct $10 at checkout screen.
But there was problem with Gap/Banana/Olds Navy- 20% discount capped off at $100 / brand of card. Even manager couldn’t figure out why. She read my digital coupon and said as per the wording it should allow 20% of any amount but it wasn’t happening. She suggested to do it 1 Card at a time, but with higher amount also it was taking off $20 only, not as per 20%. It looked like it capped off at $100 / card. So Manager suggested to do it for $100 /brand to get max discount and then try to repeat. But when we repeat, the coupon wasn’t working. After using it was not showing in coupons list too. I don’t know if its my local (Southeast MI) issue or is it this way all the way.
Thanks for the data points. So you can buy in one transaction $100 of Gap + $100 of Banana + $100 of Old Navy, and you’ll get $60 off, correct?
Also, any data points about reloading the ebay and sephora coupons for second use?
Yes all 3 I could do in one transaction and got $60 off.
I could not find any used coupon again in digital gift cards.
I did all in separate transactions and received $100 off each time.
You must be lucky. Which state?
I do not understand what you mean Spencer. You bought a 500$ gift card and got 20% off?
Yes. For each of the gap branded cards.
Hope this helps as a datapoint. I went into my local Fred Meyers (Oregon area Krogers), and they had to enter my drivers license for each $400 purchase ($500 max per gift card). Not sure why. Also, following the purchase, I am unable to find the same coupon to reload. It’s not even showing up. Anyone know of a way around this?
Could be it’s limited to one use. I was hoping it would be possible to reload, but that may not be the case.
Just sweep all the eBay gc at QFC.
What is the deal at QFC?
GiftCardZen likes to “decide” whether they will accept gift cards after the sale. See MilesToMemories. There’s no way they’re buying at 80%.
But card kangaroo is also accepting at 80%. (Only up to $300) per card. Anyone used card kangaroo? Aren’t they new to the game?
Yea, I don’t know much about them. We’ll have to find out more if they stick around.
Did you sell to card kangaroo? How was your experience?
