I bought a new Moto Z3 Play for $299, directly from Motorola, so this doesn’t seem like as good a deal.
But I was thinking of getting a cheap Samsung phone to use Samsung Pay.
It’s certainly not a bad deal. The S9 really only was a marginal improvement. Notable is the S10 will be out in a month or so and may be a much more significant advancement. It may make sense to wait and pickup an S10 or an even further discounted S8/S9.
