The Offer
Direct link to offer (our link, thanks for supporting the site)
- You need to install the add on and then add items sold and shipped by Amazon to be eligible (NOTE YOU MUST ADD THE ITEMS THROUGH THE EXTENSION. Promo should appear after you’ve installed under the product search bar)
- Amazon are offering $5 off your next $25+ purchase when you download Amazon Assistant. Last time it worked on gift cards:
- Uber
- Dominos
- Taco Bell
- I assume it works on all third party gift cards and just not on Amazon gift cards

Our Verdict
Not a huge discount but every bit helps when it comes to Amazon. There was a similar promotion last year as well. We will add this to our complete guide to saving money on Amazon. If gift cards work please let me know in the comments.
Got it again. Thanks,
2nd time…way to go…
Still working, got a $25 uber gc.
1st account didn’t have this offer (never participated in the promo).
2nd account had the offer despite having received the credit earlier this year.
Appears to be somewhat targeted.
Heads up for those wondering about the credit, as it wasn’t obvious at first.
There was no mention of the $5 promo. To get the promo code applied to the account, I clicked on the “a” icon on the upper-right-hand corner in chrome, after adding the extension, and then “OK’d” through the initial steps. It was after this that I saw the $5 off $25 promo, which I clicked, logged into my Amz account, and it was then that the promo code was applied.
I also had to chat with support to get the promotion applied.
I did not get the 5$ either, contact via Chat and was given a promotional credit on my account but as Ray mentioned it doesn’t work on gift cards but only on items shipped and sold by Amazon.com
This deal is dead unless there’s a new link
Deal doesn’t actually show on the link, just follow the instructions and it should be ok.
I didn’t get the $5, but when I clicked on your “Direct link to offer” I didn’t see the promo offer, maybe that’s why?
I did contact Amazon via chat; the first person disconnecting me multiple times, and the second forwarded my issue to the “offer team.” Is that normal?
I didn’t get the email giving me the promo either, had to chat for them to apply a $5 credit to my account.
However, note that if they have to apply it manually, the credit doesn’t work for gift cards…still better than nothing I guess.
