Thanks for sharing. I have been waiting for a deal on the Echo. Anyone think they’ll be cheaper on Prime Day? I have the Whole Foods credit but I’ll use that for a kindle.

If you have an old Echo (1st version), you can trade it in for up to $25 AND get an additional 25% of the cost of this second version. All in, I upgraded my V1 to this for under $10 delivered same day.

Link? That sounds like a good deal. Do you have to rerun the old ones?

Found this link: I’m getting a trade-in value of $5 for a v1 Echo that “power[s] on and work perfectly“ without cracks, etc.

It’s $5 for echo Dot and $25 for echo regular. But the 25% off is only applied after amazon receives and inspects the trade in item, so I’m not sure how Kurt did this all in one day.

Nope. It is “up to $25”. It you do the value wizard, it will tell you $5 in the end for a “works perfectly” device.

Really, I know how to read the website. When I actually run the wizard, it is only offering $5 for a “regular” (it shows the picture!) Echo.
