Amazon Warehouse 20% Off Hundreds Of Items

The Offer

  • Amazon Warehouse is offering 20% off a long list of items which can be found here. Discount applies automatically at checkout.

Our Verdict

Some nice deals here, such as Airpods (used – acceptable) for $77.82 after the discount. Amazon Warehouse items are used, so it’s a bit of a risk on some items, though I imagine items can be returns.

I had a funky experience on Amazon Warehouse. Bought what was supposed to be a gigabit modem. The gigabit box shows up, but it actually had an older generation model inside. Seems some fellow may have wanted a free upgrade, bought the new modem and swapped it out with the old one to be sold as new! No problem returning it on my end though.

Moral of the story- Check what you get promptly and recognize you may have to return it if it’s not what you expect.

Thanks for the offer.

The items I have purchased from the warehouse have not been “used” per say but they were returns. It’s hit or miss. Sometimes amazon describes items well and sometimes not. Sometimes the item is perfect with only a box damaged and other times half the hardware is missing to install and item. If you do not mind the hassle of returning an item sometimes then you may find savings with the warehouse.

I have had bad experiences with buying things like fans and light fixtures from the amazon warehouse but good experiences with buying things like fiestaware/dishes or kitchen items.

Agree. Have ordered a few things. One was damaged and it was not noted, another item simply did not work, and a third item was as described. So YMMV. Sometimes a 20% discount on this stuff is not worth it as it really isn’t checked out well. They are just flipping it hoping it won’t get returned again.

+1 to positive experience buying used warehouse items off of amazon. Most of them aren’t actually used, just open box/damage packaging/brand new items opened and returned. I almost always buy “like new” (damaged original packaging) and save 10-20% on something in perfect condition besides the packaging (which most of us toss or recycle anyways). I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the items.

Secondly, there are a bunch of great Nintendo Switch accessories that I’ve been meaning to buy anyway. Got a couple travel cases, some joycon grips, and a memory card; for everything $96.21 brand new, $58.86 for all “used – like new, original packaging damaged.” Saved a little more then $37 using this, and based on prior experience, everything should be essentially brand new.

Overall, I’ve had good experiences with Warehouse items.

Within buying options, drill down and you can see detail on any cosmetic imperfections. An item marked Very Good can range from damage on all sides to a nearly new item with a damaged box.

Do points discounts (AmEx, Citi, Discover) apply to warehouse items that are sold and ship from Amazon.com or Amazon Warehouse? I’ve had mixed experiences but have more recently not been able to get discounts to show.

Just a heads up, I’d advise against buying used AirPods. Speaking from personal experience, the battery life starts to fade after a couple years, becoming close to useless by 3 years in. If anyone wants to buy old AirPods, I’ll sell ’em to you real cheap.
