American Airlines Eliminating Change Fees On Most International Tickets

At the end of August American Airlines announced the elimination of change fees on domestic and short haul international flights premium cabin and most main cabin fares (excluding basic economy). Today American Airlines has announced the removal of these fees for long haul international flights as well. Travel must originate in North or South America and includes First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Main Cabin (except Basic Economy). In addition American Airlines will no longer have a service charge when booking tickets through reservations.

Obviously a very nice change from American Airlines. United, Delta, Alaska, Hawaiian have all made changes to change fee policies in recent times as well.
