The Offer
- American Airlines shopping portal is offering 10,000 bonus miles when you sign up for a $99 Motley Fool subscription
Our Verdict
Basically purchasing a AA miles for 1¢ per mile if you remember to cancel. There was a $80 profit deal in the past, but people had issues getting that credited.
This is back at 7400 miles in AAdvantage eShopping. Citi Merchant Offers has $50 back for $99 Stock Adviser service. Should be stackable.
Chase UR offers 10,000 (Freedom) or 8,000 (sapphire reserve). So if you have the CSR then you can liquidate with pay-yourself-back and make this a $20-50 moneymaker
I just got Chase Sapphire can you explain how to do this?

Side note: I can’t for the life of me figure out how to unsub from there emails and they are going to my spam atm.
Portal rates are up at AA, but are elevated with others as well. None are at the frenzied level from earlier in the year, but if you’re actually looking to check out the service while picking up some miles, the returns are better than usual.

When does the Amex offer expire?
“Get a one-time $99 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single subscription-based purchase of $99+ online at The Motley Fool or at fool.com/amex by 5/8/2021.” — https://www.doctorofcredit.com/targeted-amex-offer-motly-fool-spend-99-get-99-back-possible-stack-for-80-profit/
Chase UR portal also has this at 10k
Posted, thanks https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-ultimate-rewards-10000-points-for-99-motley-fool-subscription-51-moneymaker/
Be VERY VERY careful with which subscription you take. I did this with the Amex offer, the subscription did not qualify, and I lost out on the points and the subscription. Even with video evidence proving I clicked correctly. Yeah, video. I don’t even trust screenshots with these things, I take a full on screen recording. Thankfully Motley Fool refunded my money.
Can you elaborate on which subscription to NOT select?
Can it be stacked with the Amex offer?
Motley Fool: kings of back testing, survivorship bias, and hindsight bias. Their book “you have more than you think” is actually an awesome investing guide.
It’s such a simple but effective method for them. Run 50 picks newsletters with widely varying strategies, trumpet the horn of the ones that make bank, quietly retire/rename ones that blow up. “lol we’re stock geniuses”
not worth… got the amex deal and it doesn’t add anything useful. just a bunch of clickbait and ads
Well ya it’s really about buying miles.
