Our Verdict

Similar to the 70,000 miles + $400 deal we just posted but for $200 less and 20,000 more miles. I think this offer will only show if you do a dummy booking for award flights but not certain on that. Another great offer and will add this our list of the best credit card bonuses immediately. American Express doesn’t match bonuses unfortunately, but sometimes they offer courtesy points if you applied for a lower bonus recently.

I got this 90K + 200 credit offer to show up after the first time was a total fail. I did not apply for it and applied for the 400 statement credit + 70K miles. I followed this DP: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/american-express-delta-gold-70000-miles-400-statement-credit/#comment-1211744.

Application went to review. I still dont know if I got approved or denied. Today is the third business day.

does PREpaying for luggage trigger statement credit?

Has anyone seen the 90k offer recently?

Can I just buy a cheap airplane ticket and not fly and trigger the $200 statement credit?

I used to get 70K plus $400 offer during dummy booking, which I did not want.
Yesterday tried booking on firebox and got 90k plus $200, applied and went into consideration. Called today and answered the standard question about military member and got approved. No popups since last year cuz I opened charge cards and put spending on them. Anything I buy from Delta, ticket or food (or maybe egiftcard) will trigger $200 credit.
Right now I am on Amex’s nice list.

I got the 90k+$200 to pop during a dummy cash booking. Mobile, chrome, incognito, in Michigan.

If you’re in two-player mode, you don’t really need this offer. Your referrer should be able to get 20-30K MR points, and you’ll get the offer for 70K delta miles plus $200.

Yeah I can’t replicate this or the other increased offer in the app or website with mine or my wife’s account. Bummer.

add Tunnel Bear free vpn to Chrome.
Set source to Japan or Mexico.
Open in cognito tab
Make a dummy booking NYC-LAX without login.
Click go to payment.
The offer should appear.

Yeah it seems the pop-up is Delta card specific. As I got the pop-up for BIZ Delta Gold and then appllied for a non Delta biz amex and no pop up.

How did you get the BIZ version to show up? Or were you just applying through regular amex site.
