American Express are currently offering 20% back on Sam’s Club purchases (minimum of $100 spend and maximum of $1,250). Several readers have let me know that in the last couple of days they have seen this offer in accounts that were previously not targeted. I’d recommend seeing if you’re now targeted for this offer or not. If you are targeted, I’d recommend reading Chuck’s post on how to maximize this offer.
Several readers have also stated that recently they have been told that credit cards are not accepted for gift card purchases. This seems to be location/store specific and isn’t hardcoded, several readers have been able to purchase gift cards with credit without issue.
